Experienced Surgeons

The surgeons at St. Michael's Eye and Laser Institute are among the most experienced and well-trained in the entire country. Together they have performed thousands of surgical and laser vision correction procedures. All of our surgeons are board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. They have taught courses to other doctors at major national and international meetings of ophthalmologists. Our vision correction surgeons are fellowship-trained, having completed extensive training as eye surgery specialists.

Dedicated Surgery Centers

St. Michael's Eye and Laser Institute' Surgery Centers have been awarded the certificate of accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). The award means that St. Michael's Eye and Laser Institute has met nationally recognized standards for quality care. In order to achieve accreditation, St. Michael's Eye and Laser Institute underwent an extensive on-site survey of its facilities and services. The survey team, composed of physicians, nurses and administrators evaluated all aspects of patient care.

Our laser center is specially designed for vision correction. The laser center is constantly monitored to maintain strict humidity and temperature levels, which are imperative for the equipment to work properly.
